I've built software for 15 years. Websites are the easy part.
My name is Oleg Scheltow. By day I'm a senior software engineer at intersoft AG in Hamburg, working on insurance systems used by thousands of people daily. Before that I spent eleven years at Kühne + Nagel, from apprentice to senior engineer.
What that means for you: I don't come from the page-builder world. I come from one where software has to work when it matters. A website for a ten-person business is a small problem by comparison — which is exactly why I can deliver it in two days without cutting quality.
I work on these projects in evenings and at weekends. That isn't a drawback; it's the reason I don't have to charge agency rates.

Questions
What clients ask first.
Isn't 48 hours far too fast to be any good?
Not for a draft. The time rarely goes into building — it goes into waiting for text, photos and replies. I build while we talk, so you see something real instead of a wireframe. The refinement happens afterwards, in the revision rounds.
I have no copy and no decent photos.
The most common situation. For the first draft, whatever is publicly findable about you is enough — at least then you can see how it might look. I write copy under the Complete package, and I can put you in touch with a photographer.
Can I edit the site myself later?
Opening hours, prices, text: yes, I'll set up a simple way in. Everything else I handle under the care plan. In practice, almost nobody wants to be fiddling with their website at night.
Who owns the site in the end?
You do. Domain, content and source code. If you cancel the care plan you get every file and can move to any other provider. No lock-in, no licence fees.
Why no Google Fonts and no Google Analytics?
Because both send personal data to the US, and German courts have ruled against it. Fonts sit on a server in Germany; visitor statistics run through a privacy-compliant alternative if you want them. You won't need a cookie banner.
What if the new site doesn't bring me more enquiries?
The honest answer: I can't guarantee that, and anyone who does is selling you something. Whether enquiries come depends on your location, your prices, your reviews and the season. I guarantee what's in my hands: speed, load time, availability — and that anyone looking for you finds you and can reach you.
